Pomuni Trade awarded the highest BRC and IFS score

Pomuni Trade started the new year on a good note, receiving the highest possible score for the BRC/IFS audit, which took place from 11 until 13 January 2021.

The International Food Standard and BRC Global Standard comprise a number of strict (food safety) regulations. Compliance with these standards is checked during yearly audits.

Pomuni Trade was awarded a BRC AA rating and IFS Higher level certification. These outstanding results demonstrate that our efforts and recent investments are successful.

“Food safety, quality and traceability continue to be our highest priority”, says QA officer Anke Vets. “We are making every effort to meet the highest quality requirements. The continuous improvement of our processes plays an important role in this.”

The auditor also stressed the commitment, passion and craftsmanship of our potato experts. A compliment that we can all be proud of!

While the entire Pomuni team was instrumental in achieving these great scores, we want to congratulate our quality assurance team in particular as they oversaw the entire audit from beginning to end.

Several – scheduled and unscheduled – audits will take place later this year at Pomuni Fresh and Pomuni Frozen, for which we hope to achieve equally good scores.
